Rebekah commenced her nursing training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, Australia in 1988. She proceeded to complete her Bachelor of Nursing in 1992 and accepted a position in Peri-operative nursing specialising in gynaecology, plastics and ophthalmology.
During her career, Rebekah has also worked in maternity, fertility, occupational health and safety and palliative care. It was during her time in fertility, that she started using lasers and became interested in the area of cosmetic enhancement and proceeded to buy her first laser machine.
She has now practiced in the dermatology and cosmetic industry for the last 15 years. She gained a graduate certificate in advanced nursing from the University of Queensland in 2014 and decided to continue her studies to become a Nurse Practitioner, completing her Masters of Nurse Practitioner Studies in 2016. She is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching.
Rebekah owns and operates her own clinic called Perfectly Smooth in Brisbane. She is an advanced injectable trainer for Galderma and is a lecturer for Torrens University for their Bachelor of Health Science – aesthetics. Within her clinic she manages a team of staff who specialise in skin, lasers and injectables.
The Skin Factory is the brain child of Rebekah and long time friend Selena who saw a need for skin health to be offered to all Australians through the use of TeleHealth and a support team of Pharmacists, Dematologists and other Nurse Practitioners Australia Wide.
